Nomination
- Month and year the company was founded (Must be in business for 2-year minimum)
- The owner must be black or a person of color
- Businesses must be a contributing members of the community
Yes, youth members can be nominated as long as they meet required minimum eligibility (Must be in business for a 2-year minimum)
Ticketing
- Tickets go on sale on June 15
- Tickets will be cheapest from June 15 through July 15 after that ticket prices will go up $25 per month.

- Black Business Ball Red carpet and interviews start at 6pm
- Black Business Ball Dinner and event start at 6pm – 10pm
- The Ball will be held at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis 1325 Quincy St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413
- After Party location coming soon.
The theme of this year’s ball is a night in Marrakesh which is Moroccan-inspired attire, very colorful and vibrant, come dressed like kings and queens, elegant and regal. The dress code will be reinforced.

Yes, this event has historically been safe with zero incidents, we have over 15 security personnel as well as a local Police officer on duty in case of any disturbances that may occur.
