We take the voting process very seriously, we have upgraded our systems to ensure no duplication or fake emails are used.

Yes, youth businesses can be voted for any category.

**Honorary awards do not receive grants.

Vendors

Yes vendor table Registration open for sale on April 1st
  • Vendor Table only (no Black Business Ball ticket) $300.00
  • Vendor Table with 1 Black Business Ball General Admission Ticket Included $450.00
  • Vendor Table with 2 Black Business Ball General Admission Tickets included $550.00

Yes depending on the services, the highest demand are as listed below:
  • Massage services
  • Decorations (linens, centerpieces, flowers)
  • Specialty services (cryotherapy, facials, limo or car services, etc..)
  • Anything media and digital such as video, photography, photo booth, etc..)

  • You may pay in full or split the fee into 2 payments.
  • All vendor fees must be paid in full by July 1st, 2022
  • The agreement must be signed and returned to us by July 1st as well

  • Sharing tables is not allowed unless we are at capacity.

Ticketing

  • Tickets go on sale April 1st
  • Tickets will be cheapest from April 1st through May 1st after that ticket price will go up $25 per month.
  • Ticket Price Month of April $185.00
  • Ticket Price Month of May $200.00
  • Ticket Price Month of June $225.00
  • Ticket Price Month of July $250.00
  • The Black Business Ball is on Saturday, October 1st, 2022
  • Black Business Ball Expo starts at 3pm – 10pm
  • Black Business Ball Red carpet and interviews start at 4pm – 10pm
  • Black Business Ball Dinner and event start at 6pm – 11pm
  • The Ball will be Held at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403

  • After Party will be at the Exchange in Downtown Minneapolis 12 Midnight – 2am

The theme of this year’s ball is coming to America, the dress code should be black tie, ball gowns, evening wear, suit and tie for men or anything elegant to match the theme. Dress code will be reinforced.

Parking is included for 1 vehicle for VIP and all inclusive VIP  ONLY. Valet and any other parking not on the Hyatt property will be the full responsibility of the guest.

Others

All vendors will have a free business card space or 1 quarter page in the magazine included.

The Black Business Ball is a national event, and any and all minority businesses are invited to attend.

While we are not requiring that everyone joining us be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 we will be following recommendations of the CDC and local health authorities, which include:
  • Masks are not required but encouraged.
  • Recommending that people, both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated, continue to wear a well-fitted mask.
  • Limiting the total number of attendees to provide more physical distance.
  • Working with the venue to ensure CDC cleaning procedures are followed and that hand sanitizer is readily available.

Yes, this event has historically been safe with zero incidents, we have over 15 security personnel as well as a local Police officer on duty in case of any disturbances that may occur.
With that said Black Business Enterprises, Black Business Ball, and its partners and subsidiaries will not be responsible for any items stolen or misplaced, we highly encourage you to keep your belongings safe with you at all times.
